I was recently discussing life balance as a parent asked how much was too much for his son. Life balance is a trendy thing – we try to find it as much as possible, giving time to everything that is important in life. But, can high-achievers truly have a life balance? Realistically, the answer is no. But the good thing is that burnout doesn’t really happen as long as that lack of balance comes from intrinsic motivation and a deep internal drive to be great.
