Who should take the beginner course?
Generally, players who are brand new to pitching or have two years or less experience. The course provides an excellent foundation for players who haven't pitched much.
Who should take the advanced course?
Players who have pitched a good amount over the course of 2-3 years and wouldn't need to learn the wind up, stretch, and the basics, but might need to improve on them before continuing on to fine-tune their mechanics.
Is basic throwing mechanics covered in the beginner course?
Yes! You cant pitch if you can't throw. I start with basic throwing technique that will apply as a position player - it's the first module of the beginner course, before the wind up.
What if I need help?
I'm here with speedy email support every step of the way. I want you to have a great experience, so with any questions I'll be right there.
How do I access the course?
The course works on desktop, tablets or mobile through your web browser - it's easy to access and watch. The interface is clean and easy to use.
How long will it take to complete?
The beginner course will vary, but will take 4-12 weeks depending on the player. The advanced course has a LOT of deeper content that will take time to absorb, but players can create a customized analysis and practice plan within a week and begin using it.
Do players increase velocity? Improve command.
Absolutely. However, I do NOT make claims of how many MPHs a player might add, because it's highly dependent on the player, their work ethic, age, and other factors. I also find it highly dishonest to make such velocity claims, knowing not everyone will experience them. Rest assured, you WILL gain velocity over time and improve your command if you improve your mechanics, strengthen your arm and follow the plan.
