Jaco Clothing – Cool Stuff

I have some great clients. Here’s what a few of them have to say about me:

Wanted to let you know Clifton’s team opened their season this past weekend with a double header on Saturday and then one on Sunday, he pitched in two of the games and came away with a win and a save! The win against Mahomet was a big one cuz those boys can hit! He is so excited about the season and told me after Sundays game, “Mom, my arm feels great!” Since we wont be able to make it down Sunday, wanted to let you know we are very happy that clifton was able to have the opportunity to work with you over the off season and feel that it has really helped him to become a better pitcher, he seems to have a lot of confidence on the mound! Thanks again for all you have done, and good luck on your season!…Sincerely, The Slagels

My name is Chris Redman and I have been training with Dan for 2 years now. I swing a heavier bat and have increased my velocity from 55 to 75mph. I have also gained about 10 good pounds during this time while losing fat. These performance increases came from his training, mechanical changes and changing my fastball grip.

Training with Dan has changed my life in various ways. I have learned that if I want to be taken seriously I have to take myself seriously. Training with Dan has made me stronger mentally and physically. My velocity has improved thanks to Dan’s Warbird Program, but my overall strength has increased even more. The biggest thing, though, is that I’ve learned that hard work transfers to huge improvements in your overall progress as a player. -Aidan Cossio, Age 14

Training with Dan this fall, I’ve gained 22 pounds in 4 months. I can tell a big differene in my hitting as well as throwing. Throwing, my velocity has gone from 73 to 79 from Dan’s new Warbird Academy. Even with the added muscle weight, Dan’s knowledge of running form has helped me drop .3 seconds off of my 60yd time. Dan is good at motivating his clients, he would always tell me “If you choose not to gain weight, you’re choosing not to play college baseball.” I gained those 22 pounds, and it wasn’t easy. Dan is always someone to talk to about any problems and teaches us new stuff about baseball and life. I don’t know where I’m playing my college ball yet but because of Dan, I know it’s going to be a better team and I’ll be playing more than I otherwise would.

Morgan Depew, Normal Community HS Class of 2012

I have trained with Dan for over a year now and he helped me reach every goal I have set. I actually like the workouts; it’s not just the same old bench, squat, and other stuff. Dan also sent out some emails to college coaches for me after we had a conversation about me playing in college. -Anibal Torres, Central Catholic High Class of 2012

I have been with Dan for two years now. I can honestly say that because of him I have turned into the best I can be. I was always strong but once I got to Dan he turned that into a high school kid who can’t be beaten. I have gained 12 pounds and added almost 8 mph from 79 to 87. I can feel the ball jumping off my bat and see the ball go over the fence and hit the scoreboard. Not only is Dan a great trainer but he is also a great person. He has become one of my best friends and a mentor who I look up to and try to be. If anyone goes to Dan I guarantee results. -Eric Fight, Normal Community HS Class of 2012. Signed to Heartland CC Baseball (#2 Ranked D2 JUCO Program)

Since September of 2011 my workout experience with Dan has been great. During my experience I’ve been able to gain strength as well as lose weight. I came in doing 2-3 pushups and can now do 12+. I’ve learned how to keeping going and not give up on the burn. The experience has been great and I look forward to more! – Ladrina Jones
My name is Tom Randinelli and I started training with Dan in early spring 2011 and I’m still with him today. My training goals are probably different than his other students in the fact that I’ll be turning 59 this month, which I believe makes me his oldest student. I give Dan a different challenge because of my age and the goals I want to achieve. He’s doing a great job with me because I feel and look like I did 20 years ago. I plan on training with Dan as long as he and I are available.
Starting in the fall of 2011 with Dan as a 162lb 6’3″ 16 year old, my biggest goal was to gain weight. 4 months and 20 pounds later, I have also added 6 mph to my fastball, reaching 91 from my original 84mph. As well as performing better, I am now swole enough to make ladies swoon over me. Dan is a true bro, so I’d recommend his program to anyone looking for strength, speed, size and swag. – Nick Hieb, Normal West Class of 2013
I have trained with Dan for 6 months now. In the first three months I gained 11 pounds. I have gotten bigger and stronger and now use a 33/30 bat instead of the 32/29 I used to swing. I also have ladies practically crawling on me like in the AXE deodorant commercials; they love my new muscles.  - Mitch Casino, Normal Community Class of 2013
Through the years I have never been much of what you call an athlete, but my main sport is golf; let’s be honest – it’s barely a sport; fat kids can play it and be great – that should tell you something! Dan changed all this about me, though. His hard ass “I listen to no excuses” attitude turned me into a resolute athlete. During the two years I’ve been with him I have put on 30 pounds and can now deadlift over 300 pounds, whip out 40 push ups and can hit a golf ball over 300 yards. For a golfer, I am now the most athletic among my high school competition. Dan’s program has taught me discipline and many other life lessons that, combined with my new found athletic capabilities, allowed me to pay the very best golf of my life. This caught the attention of Parkland College, where I will attend next year to continue my golf career. With Dan I achieved my dream of playing collegiate golf, and I hope to continue with him to reach the highest level possible. - Conner Cox, Central Catholic Class of 2012, Committed to Parkland College (Golf)
We brought my son to Dan Blewett looking for some pitching instruction. Dan
explained the concept of core training and how this would help our son become stronger
to throw on the mound. We signed up and have not looked back. Dan delivers a fully
complete program that will drive your athlete to a new level. Notice I did not say your
son or daughter, I said your athlete. Dan’s extensive knowledge and training guides him
to build a program tailored to your athlete to build weak points up and strengthen the
body to build a true cohesive athlete who will be able to deliver on any field in any
situation.
Dan’s training program is not for the faint of heart. It takes dedication and
complete devotion. He looks to the future in everything he plans and builds with the
athletes he trains. From basic core training, to diet and living habits, to mental focus in
the game, Dan delivers all needed to help your son or daughter excel. When my 14 year
old son arrived 6 months ago he was throwing in the 56 – 58mph arena. He now throws
consistently in the low 70’s with more to come as my son works his final changes to his
mechanics. My son throws harder because of the excellent instruction and core training
that has been given to him. Also an athlete must believe and respect his coach. Dan earns
the respect of his students in no time from his thoroughness and devotion to his students’
success. Never has my son felt he has had a coach who is so in tune to his performance
before.
If you are looking for a professional who can help drive your athlete to a new
position, Dan is the complete package. We have placed our son’s well being in his hands
and never looked back. Your athlete could not be in better hands with Dan. Our only fear
is facing another of Dan’s students on the playing field. We know what they will be like.

Dan Blewett’s Sports Performance Training is like nothing I’ve done before. The workouts are goal-oriented and Dan made them perfect for me, gaining strength, weight, and speed (3 things I was determined to improve in the off-season of my 2011 senior baseball season), so I could improve all aspects of my game. I have reaped the benefits of this training, having my best high school baseball season; I give all the thanks to Dan for the workouts, the proper technique, and of course his motivation. I have been and plan on continuing DB Sports Performance Training because all it has done is benefit me.
Thanks Dan.

We began training with Dan 3 months ago and it has been an amazing expereince for everyone. He is very knowledgable and wants the very best for all of his athletes. He pushes you to be better, stronger and makes training a lot of fun to top it all off. I would highly encourage any athlete who wants to be stronger, faster and better to train with Dan. He is awesome and I am so glad that we have gotten the chance to work with him.

Dan Blewetts Sports Performance is something that has turned my
baseball career completely around. I have never been the “most
talented” guy on the field, but work ethic and determination to get
better has always been enough to pull me through. At the Varsity level
however, you need more than a simple want to win. You need to be
physically capable of delivering your best, hardest throw or swing at
any given moment. Dan gave me the ability to do just that, through his
weightlifting and conditioning programs. As with all things in life,
you get back what you put in, Dans training is a perfect tool for
accomplishing just that. If you work hard through his program, you
will come out stronger and better, guaranteed. His workouts are
personalized for what you need, they aren’t just a generic print-off
that is handed out to everybody. Since I started working out at DBSP,
I have dropped weight, gained strength, and become much more flexible.
This is definitely a program worth doing for the serious athlete.

Jason Carter, Central Catholic High Class of 2011, Current Pitcher at Lincoln College

In the winter at DBSP, my physical abilities improved exponentially. I have gained 8 pounds and feel stronger than ever. Alex Zadoks, Normal Community Class of 2013

Training with Dan helped me because I gained 7 pounds, got stronger and I can swing a heavier bat faster than I could my older, lighter one. I helped catch Dan’s pitchers and I learned a lot about catching, including cup safety. Before, I couldn’t do pushups on the floor but now I can do 10 with good form. I made the Freshman baseball team and am excited to play this season.  -Elijah Simpson, Class of 2015.
