I have to say it’s been a great run, but today is going to be my last blog post ever. You see, I have found another calling in this life, and I won’t be able to devote the time to this endeavor anymore. As I leave, I want to say thanks to all of you who have been reading and sharing my knowledge among the training and baseball community.
I had a dream last night, and when I awoke I knew that it was time to change career paths. Sometimes we have to just blindly follow that dream, even if it means giving up the things that we use to want the most. I thought that pursuing professional baseball and expertise as a trainer was my calling, but after a REM cycle last night it became apparent that I was wrong.
Friday morning I will be gassing up the sheepdog and heading out west. The climate here on the east coast is just not conducive to my new business, and I have to go where myself and my business partner, Harry, can best flourish. Our worm farms are going to revolutionize agriculture, and we expect to be a Fortune 500 company within two years. The idea was right beneath my feet this whole time, er, at least when it rained.
I have to say, making this trip is going to be with much sorrow, as my pet parakeet, Petey, recently passed. He was a joyful creature, and his memory will live on, head or no head.
Again, thank you all for being such faithful readers, and I’m so sorry that I won’t be here to continue to provide you with insightful training knowledge. Please wish me luck in my travels, and I hope you will all keep in touch.
